El Dorado County Contacts

This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, pull official booking records, change a court date, accept public records requests, or speak for the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office, jail, probation, court, CDCR, BOP, ICE, or California VINE. Contact the office that holds the record for official answers.

Probation and Court Contacts

El Dorado County Probation is led by Chief Probation Officer Kaci Smith. The Shingle Springs office is at 3974 Durock Road, Suite 205, and can be reached at (530) 621-5625 from 8 AM to 5 PM. The South Lake Tahoe office is at 1360 Johnson Blvd., Suite 102, and can be reached at (530) 573-3083 from 8 AM to 5 PM.

The court's Criminal Division handles felonies, misdemeanors, and some infractions. The Case Index can be searched by name, case number, or filing date when the question is about a case outcome rather than a jail release record.
